The CIPS Supply Management Awards 2008
The CIPS Supply Management Awards, designed to celebrate and reward excellence in the field of purchasing and supply management have now launched. Entries are invited across 11 team and two individual categories. See the how to enter section for more details.
This year's awards feature a new team category, International Purchasing Project of the Year, to reflect the increasingly global nature of the profession.
Judges will look for a successful project that involved sourcing activities and/or teamwork beyond the country in which the organisation is based.
Bola Afolabi, CIPS vice-president and general manager SAP of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), will chair the judging panel.
Ariba returns as the partner sponsor, along with Atos Consulting, Hays Purchasing and Supply, RS and CPO Agenda.
