A CIPS Supply Management Award is the most prestigious recognition a company or individual in the procurement and supply chain profession can receive. The Awards ceremony is held in September and is the opportunity for you or one of your team to step on stage at the ceremony to accept a prize.
Each team entry costs £100+VAT, but there is no charge for the three individual categories that celebrate and reward excellence in the purchasing and supply profession.
This year's chair of judges is Gerry Walsh, former Procurement Director at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and winner of last year’s ‘CIPS procurement and supply chain professional of the year’ award. He will be joined by Julie Digby, UK Commercial Head at Mars, ITV Group Procurement Director Andrew Newnham and a selected panel of other senior professionals from the world of procurement and supply.
AirPlus is the headline sponsor of the event. Hays Procurement is also a sponsor and QinetiQ Commerce Decisions is the official technology provider for the judging. The shortlist will be revealed in the summer and the winners will be announced at the black-tie gala ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 11 September.
This year’s high-profile compère of the evening will be revealed at a later date, but in the meantime, read on to find out more about the categories, how to enter and tips for success.
